This vintage rug pays homage to one of Andy Warhol‘s most famous pieces of artwork, the immediately recognizable and ever-popular Barbie. The hues of bright yellow and pink in this piece play off of each other with dramatic effect. Later on in the artist’s career, he continued to create striking images in other ways, one of which is the varied colouring that is featured in this vintage rug.
Excellent unused condition, its cardboard box bears the Warhol Foundation and Mattel approved and endorsed copyright statements.
